Airdrie & District Angling Club have managed Hillend Loch since 1949 although we have records of our club under the name of Airdrie Angling Club, fishing the loch as far back as 1859. Airdrie & District Angling Club is now a registered Community Amateur Sports Club, and regulated under CASC rules. Full membership is open to anglers who have been associate members for 2 consecutive years. The club has membership of over 500 members making it the largest independant angling club in the UK. There is an area of the lochside to the North-East which is exclusively reserved for full members. Day membership is available from the lodge and associate memberships are available by appointment. more..
